About The Position
The Coding Specialist I position is a full-time, remote role responsible for reviewing documentation and assigning diagnosis and procedure codes for outpatient evaluation and management visits and ancillary services. The role requires knowledge of coding guidelines and payer rules, effective communication with team members, and the ability to meet deadlines while managing a heavy workload. The position includes a training period during which the hours are set, followed by flexible working hours.
