About The Position

This position is accountable for providing technical support for the coding group, including creation of new coded pay items, maintaining and updating the Coded Pay Items Manual (CPIM), and entry of highway contract pay items and quantities for computer processing on contracts scheduled for a bid letting.Essential Functions Provides support for the complete and accurate entry of pay items into the data processing operation to maintain contract letting control. Accurately revises contract pay items, quantities, and funding participation caused by the issuance of contract addendums. Assigns pay item designations for new pay items. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Completion of two years of college in civil engineering technology, pre-engineering or a job related technical/science curriculum PLUS thirty months of engineering experience; OR six years of engineering experience.
  • Requires successful completion of a background screening.
