About The Position

C0deEX is an after school coding academy located at Acton, MA. We offer Coding classes for all age groups starting 5 to 16 in Acton, Lexington, Maynard and Sudbury locations. We also offer Lego/Robotics (First Lego League - FLL) as part of our after school curriculum. We offer online and in-person instructor-led classes. As part of our school outreach program, we offer classes in all surrounding public school districts of Acton, Westford, Concord, Lexington, Arlington, Bedford, Burlington and Belmont areas.

Requirements

• Completed or currently pursuing undergraduate/graduate in Computer Science or similar STEM related fields
• Passion for working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery
• Become proficient with some or all of the following SCRATCH/Python/Java/RBLOX(Lua)/Mine Craft
• Participate and mentor in FLL (First Lego League)
