About The Position

The Coding Educator and Resource Specialist is responsible for development,
coordination and delivery of coding educational activities for the overall
improvement of quality and completeness of Hospital coding and CDI coding and
for providing the skill development needed for career path for coding. Supports
Coding & CDI and Quality physician leaders at facility and system level.
Collaborates with Coding & CDI Directors on assessing educational needs based
on audit findings. Assists coding audit department team members with assigned
responsibilities, as needed.
