We’re currently seeking a dedicated Coding Coordinator to join our Medical Records Department at our Crestline location. The Medical Records Coding Coordinator will report to the Coding Manager and the Medical Records Director and will function as a member of the Coding Team to ensure that coding practices are compliant, efficient, accurate and consistent. Position requires performing training, reviews and audits of the coding team and sharing observation and best practices with the management team. Position will also be responsible for handling various projects as assigned. Requirements

  • Three or more years of coding experience, with demonstrated subject matter expertise (SME) in the application of ICD-10-CM/PCS diagnosis coding and HCPCS/CPT procedure coding
  • Professional certification in HIM or coding through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) to include RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CCA or similar.
  • Must be within reasonable driving distance of Crestline, OH

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Multiple certifications through AHIMA

Responsibilities
