About The Position

Assigns diagnostic and procedure codes to patient records. Enters abstract data in computer and generates reports as required.

Requirements

• Current Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) or Graduate with a degree in Medical Billing and coding
• Previous experience in coding, billing and payment processes.
• Capable of working overtime as required
• Able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Ability to work with physicians, physician office personnel and hospital departments in a highly professional setting.
