Expected pay for this position is $25.10 - $29.54/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position. Candidates in Illinois or Michigan with inpatient coding experience or those who have already completed PCS procedure coding training are encouraged to apply. Training will be completed onsite for 1 week and the remainder of training will be performed remotely. Location of training to be determined based on applicant location and facility availability. The Coder position assigns accurate ICD-CM/PCS & CPT/HCPCS codes to all pertinent diagnoses and procedures on inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory encounters; to comply with coding guidelines, abstracts all required information for statistical and reimbursement purposes. This position works closely with revenue cycle team members to ensure appropriate billing and reimbursement.
