Coder Physician
About The Position
Profee Coder with 2+ years of experience across multiple specialties to include wound care, mental health, behavioral health, urgent care, family health and specialty clinics. This would include EM level coding and procedures/diagnostics such as debridement, skin graft, laceration repairs, I&Ds, injections, EKGs; as well as psychotherapy, collaborative care, and AWS coding. Experience with Meditech Expanse required. This is a short-term assignment to assist with seasonal volume increase and staff outages. Estimated length through May but may extend slightly longer. Will consider fulltime or parttime. For full time the schedule requirements are M-F 8 hours a day preferably 8am - 5pm MST but can be flexible with reason. Parttime schedules will need to be 20 hours through the week preferably with some hours in between 8am and 5pm MST but can be somewhat flexible with this. Candidates need to be well experienced in the areas listed, able to ramp up quickly, and ok working independently. Any needed support will be provided, but coder(s) are expected to be knowledgeable in all areas listed and need minimal training.
