Coder Inpatient
About The Position
IP coder with a minimum of recent 3 years of experience preferably with a children's hospital but at least pediatric coding experience to include PICU and NICU coding as well as pediatric surgery experience across all specialties. Will need to be experienced assigning MS and APR DRGs. Experience with Cerner and 3M 360 CAC is required. This is an estimated 6-month assignment. Schedule requirements are M-F 8 hours a day. Requirements
- 3 + years of children's hospital or pediatric experience including PICU/NICU

- Experience with pediatric surgeries

- Ok with a 6 month assignment
- Able to work M-F schedule
- Able to pick up new workflows and technology easily
- Able to ramp up productivity in 4 weeks
- Maintain 95% accuracy in all coding
- Good written and verbal communication
