Coder II - Full Time - Days - 8hr QVH

Emanate Health is seeking a Coder II to assign and sequence diagnostic/procedural codes to in-patient and outpatient medical records for billing, reimbursement, and data retrieval, adhering to established coding guidelines. The role also involves reviewing documentation for accurate abstracting of clinical data to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
- One to three years of prior coding experience
- Knowledge of MS-DRG, APR-DRG, ICD-10CM/PCS and CPT required
- Knowledge of computerized encoder programs
- Excellent customer service skills
- CCS required
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred with coursework in Medical Terminology/Anatomy & Physiology and Computer experience
