About The Position

The Coder position at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare involves coding outpatient records and abstracting records. Requirements

• Must have CCA, CCS, CPC, or RHIT certification.
• Minimum of two years' experience applying ICD-10 and CPT codes preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Codes outpatient records.

• Assumes responsibility for maintaining CEUs necessary for licensure/certification.
• Forwards necessary information to department manager and education department.
