Horizons is responsible for Gemini’s Code, Thinking, and Reasoning performance. The Role Key responsibilities: Design experiments to improve Gemini’s capabilities as a software engineer. Create evaluations to measure key software engineering capabilities. Responsibilities may include creating evaluations to measure Gemini’s capabilities as a software engineer, running RL experiments to improve them, and designing novel agent harnesses & agentic capabilities. Build infrastructure components necessary to facilitate research. Work with a cross-functional research & infrastructure team. Requirements

  • Understanding of LLMs & recent RL methodology
  • Experience running ML experiments
  • Experience developing LLM-based agents
