About The Position
The position involves responsibilities in both Animal Control and Environmental Enforcement. In Animal Control, the employee will patrol designated areas to enforce animal regulations, respond to complaints, conduct investigations, and manage stray and unwanted animals. The role also includes handling wild and potentially dangerous animals, providing public information, and maintaining logs of animal activity. In Environmental Enforcement, the employee will patrol streets to enforce city ordinances related to sanitation, investigate complaints, and maintain records. The position may require weekend work and on-call scheduling.
