About The Position
The position is focused on providing a safe and healthy environment for the City's citizens by ensuring that buildings and land in the municipality comply with housing and zoning ordinances. The role involves inspecting and investigating properties and buildings, determining the nature of environmental or health hazards, issuing permits or citations, and understanding and complying with state and federal regulations on land usage, zoning, business permits, and building access.
