About The Position

The Code Enforcement Manager is responsible for overseeing the enforcement of local codes and regulations related to building, zoning, and property maintenance. This position involves managing a team of code enforcement officers, developing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. The manager will also serve as a liaison between the community and the enforcement team, addressing concerns and providing education on code requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in code enforcement or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as a Code Enforcement Officer.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Familiarity with GIS and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the code enforcement division.
• Manage and train code enforcement officers.
