Raspberry Pi FoundationAtlanta, GA

About The Position

We are looking to appoint a program coordinator to join the Raspberry Pi Foundation's US team to help grow the reach and impact of Code Club. Code Club is a global movement of free coding clubs where young people aged 9-16 years old develop the confidence to create with digital technologies. Code Clubs are run by teachers, educators, and volunteers from all walks of life and take place in schools and community settings, like libraries, museums, and maker spaces. Reporting to the National Program Manager, you will play a key role in expanding and sustaining this network across the United States. You will work directly with school districts, community organizations, and other partners to help them set up and run Code Clubs. You’ll coordinate logistics for training and events, support onboarding and communications, and manage systems and data that help us deliver impact at scale – through both online and in-person activities. We are looking for someone who has experience of working with schools and youth-focused community organisations and who brings strong coordination and organizational skills. You don’t need to be an expert in computer science or coding, but you do need to bring passion for our mission and a willingness to learn. This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia which is one of the locations in the US where we have established a team. Your work will be national and you will need to be able to travel to events across the US. We strive to make the Foundation a place where talented people who care about our mission can do the best work of their careers. We have a flexible and collaborative approach to all aspects of our work. If you’re the right person for the job, we’ll make it work for you, and you can be confident that you’ll be working with an exceptional team.
