About The Position

As a Cocktail Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, serving a wide range of delicious cocktails and beverages to our diverse clientele.

Requirements

Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service. Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve guest concerns with professionalism.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and management. Active listening skills to understand guest preferences and needs.
Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a neat and organized work area and handle multiple orders accurately and efficiently.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends, and holidays.
Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification
Must have an Alcohol Service Licensing or certification.
Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS – Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
Must be at least twenty-one years old.
Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying trays, and performing tasks that involve bending, stooping, and reaching.
Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a cocktail server or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
Familiarity with bartending techniques and drink recipes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Anticipate their needs and provide prompt and attentive service throughout their visit.
Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, mixed drinks, beers, wines, and other beverages following standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Ensure all drinks are made to the highest quality and consistency.
Upselling and Recommendations: Proactively upsell additional drinks, menu items, or specials to enhance the guest experience. Provide recommendations based on guests' preferences and menu knowledge.
Order Taking and Processing: Accurately take orders from guests, ensuring all details are noted correctly. Enter orders into the POS system promptly and process payments efficiently.
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar area, including tables, countertops, and bar tools. Keep the service area well-stocked with necessary supplies, such as napkins, straws, and garnishes.
Teamwork: Collaborate with bartenders, barbacks, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. Assist in restocking inventory and completing side work tasks as assigned.
Knowledge of Products: Stay informed about the menu offerings, including ingredients, flavors, and presentation. Be able to answer guests' questions and provide accurate information about the drinks and food options.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices. Follow proper procedures for checking identification and preventing over-intoxication.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
