SUMMARY The Cocktail Server ("Servidor de Cócteles”) provides a courteous, timely and professional service in the restaurant, shows complete knowledge of all menus and pricing, as well as a proactive, customer-oriented attitude. PAY & PERKS Compensation: $17.75 Earn $1000 for Culinary, Engineering, Housekeeping, and $350 for all other roles. for each hired referral at any Evans Hotels property. Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience and/or training. A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
- Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
- Must be able to attain a valid San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire. Evans Hotels will provide this training and is to be completed at the company’s expense.
- RBS certification required
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Promotes and serves food and drinks in an efficient and courteous fashion with a smile.
- Notifies leadership of any guest comments or service issues.
- Takes food and beverage orders in a friendly manner with a positive attitude, utilizing suggestive selling.
- Secures payment / tabs for all drinks prior to preparation and service.
- Grows and maintains a working knowledge of food, beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
- Is knowledgeable of brands carried and takes advantage of upselling opportunities.
- Follows all County Health Department laws, regulations, and departmental procedures in the maintenance, preparation, and service of food and beverages.
- Maintains general cleanliness and tidiness throughout shift in all areas.
- Performs routine side work throughout and at the start and end of shift.
- Immediately reports all accidents to a supervisor.
- Speaks to a supervisor when in doubt about any rules, regulations, or procedure.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
