Responsible for serving cocktails and beverages to players in the casino and/or hotel. Provide excellent guest service. Bus glasses and, generally, maintain cleanliness of assigned sections.
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in the casino in a timely manner (based on 4-Star/4-Diamond requirements).
Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous and professional manner in every guest interaction
Responsible alcohol service in accordance with TIPS training.
Bus glasses and generally maintain assigned section.
Maintain stock and cleanliness of cocktail service station.
Cash transactions with guests, operating adopted register system.
Work special events, as needed.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Excellent verbal skills.
Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the staff.
Knowledge of all phases of beverage administration, cost control, and familiarity of all beverage services.
Must possess a high regard for guest service.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be 21 years of age.
Experienced in alcoholic beverage service in a high-volume beverage-serving establishment.
TIPS certification required.
Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
Certified Food Handler Card required.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as order tickets, recipes, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and guests.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment.
Must apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand and walk during an 8-hour shift.
Team member is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and use hands to manipulate and feel.
The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The team member must have the ability to hear and speak.
Sense of vision must see up close, at a distance, in color and have depth perception.
An acute sense of taste and smell is vital to success in this position
This is a fast paced work environment and the position requires the ability to cope with it.
The casino environment has moderate to loud noise levels and is a smoking environment.
Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events.
A typical workweek is 40 hours and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday.
