About The Position
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time or part-time Cocktail Server to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. As a Cocktail Server, you will use your knowledge of wines, beers, and cocktails to serve a variety of drinks to guests while providing excellent service in every interaction. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to obtain a New York state gaming license
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
- Basic math skills
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
- Ability to lift, balance and carry trays, weighing up to 35 pounds

Responsibilities
- Greet guests, communicate drink specials, answer questions about available beverages, and take beverage orders
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, and adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
- Enter drink orders into the point-of-sale system; pick up drink orders and deliver them to guests
- Observe and follow up with guests, ready to provide additional service
- Prepare and deliver the guest checks; accept and process payment, or direct guests to the cashier
