Summary Statement: The Cocktail Server will provide consistent elegant, warm, and responsive service to all guests while taking and serving food and beverage orders. The cocktail server will be professional in their engagement with the guest, displaying enthusiasm and knowledge about the menu and products. The role will be accountable for financial transactions and effectively market their assigned venue during their shift. Cocktail servers are encouraged to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others to reach business goals. Highly efficient and organized Cocktail Server with a stellar record of friendly and upbeat customer service. Able to multitask effectively in a high-pressure fast-paced working environment. Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to: Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner. Obtain food and beverage orders from guests and enter orders in point of sales system. Ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered to each guest in a timely manner. Maintain clean and well stocked workstations. Checking identification to ensure customers are the proper age to purchase alcoholic beverages. Collaborate with bartenders and kitchen team members to ensure accuracy of order. Offer item suggestions by using suggestive selling techniques (e.g. daily beverage specials, cocktails/wines and after dinner beverages). Carry and push heavy (approximately 30lbs) trays and carts of glassware and items as directed by management. Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied. Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing. Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc. Pose for pictures as requested by management, appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue. Perform other job-related duties as requested.
