About The Position

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This world-renowned entertainment, gaming and hospitality destination unveiled a $1.5 billion expansion on Oct. 24, 2019. New offerings include 638 upscale guestrooms in the first-ever Guitar Hotel, 168 luxury guestrooms and unique swim-up suites in the adjacent Oasis Tower at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, and 465 newly redesigned guestrooms in Hard Rock Hotel for a combined room count of 1,271 throughout the resort. Additional amenities include the lush, 'Bora Bora' style lagoon with private cabanas and butler service; a 42,000 square-foot Rock Spa & Salon; a 13.5-acre recreational water experience for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding; 19 dining outlets and 20 bars and lounges; an expansive gaming floor with 3,100 slots, 195 table games and a 45-table poker room; 120,000 square feet of premier meeting and convention space including a 38,000 square-foot, carpeted exhibition hall; and a 26,000 square-foot retail promenade. The highly anticipated Hard Rock Live entertainment venue with a 7,000-person capacity, will showcase A-list entertainers, comedy acts, Broadway performances, sporting events and live broadcast productions. The integrated resort is located on 87 acres of the Hollywood Seminole Reservation along State Road 7 (U.S. Highway 441), and is 10 minutes from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and 30 minutes from downtown Miami and Miami International Airport.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a high volume, service focused restaurant or nightclub.
  • Previous cocktail serving experience in a high-volume nightclub environment preferred.
  • Must possess a valid alcohol awareness card and a health department card.
  • Must be self-motivated, constantly striving to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral; multilingual skills is a plus.
  • Previous modeling experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must have strong knowledge of spirits, wines, champagne and mixed cocktails.
  • Must be able to mix well-balanced cocktails and shots.
  • Must be able to operate point of sales systems terminal.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality guest service while preparing and serving tableside beverages and, on occasion, food and amenities in a timely manner.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions at the Point of Sale system (POS).
  • Initiate and engage in conversation with all guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Pour drinks and mix well-balanced cocktails and shots following standard recipes.
  • Act as an ambassador of the venue, marketing the venue and all products offered to the targeted customer base.
  • Collect customer information for the venue database, while striving to increase the size of personal clientele.
  • Meet marketing requirements established by management, as per the Company's Marketing Requirement Plan.
  • Prepare all products according to established venue recipes, focusing on proper portion size control.
  • Exhibit and execute a complete knowledge of the venue's sequence of service and selling technique.
  • Provide each customer with a properly itemized bill and secure payment according to established venue procedures.
  • Work with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs and assist other team members when the opportunity arises.
  • Communicate with management, VIP hosts & service team to rectify any and all customer needs, comments or incidents.
  • Ensure that assigned area, side station, tables and POS stations are clean and well stocked at all times.
  • Communicate and work with all support team to ensure inventory is maintained at established par levels.
  • Adhere to all established policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain excellent customer service skills & high service standards in a constantly changing environment.
