The Cocktail Lounge Attendant is responsible for hosting and preparing drinks, serving meals, and ensuring a high level of customer service in the Cocktail Lounge and surrounding areas. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a warm personality, and knowledge of food and beverage preparation/service.

Requirements

• One (1) or more years of customer service experience.
• Must be twenty one (21) years of age or older if required by applicable law.
• Basic Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• TIPS or other alcohol service training, and food handlers certificate where applicable.
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, time management, and customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.

Responsibilities

• Host and prepare guests’ drinks and serve meals in the Cocktail Lounge and surrounding areas.
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
• Anticipate residents' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
• Maintain complete knowledge of cocktail lounge and restaurant operations and proper table setup.
• Serve residents and guests' meals and beverages as requested.
• Maintain knowledge of and abide by state liquor regulations.
• Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices.
• Properly store, use, and handle chemicals using proper PPE and safety measures.
• Maintain knowledge of the characteristics and description of every wine and beverage available.
• Maintain complete knowledge of Toast and/or Point Of Sale (POS) systems.
• Process payments through the POS system(s).
• Ensure that all drink orders are accurately rung into the POS system.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation methods, and quality standards.
• Set tables in accordance with Company standards.
• Open and close Cocktail Lounge according to checklists.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
• Wash and sanitize glassware, cups, flatware, and other service wares as needed.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar top, tables, and service areas.
• Clearly communicate last call at the designated closing time to guests and servers.
• Legibly document designated items on the waste log.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment to brew and prepare beverages.
• Complete temperature logs and par stock lists on a daily basis.
