About The Position

As a COBRA/ Direct Bill Manager, you’ll play an important role in helping us offer customized, self-funded insurance options to our clients and members. The COBRA/Direct Bill Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration of COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) benefits for our clients, as well as the direct billing process for individual/group policies. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance premium billing, collections, and customer service. The manager will be responsible for ensuring that all insurance premiums are accurately billed, payments are collected, and updates are made in a timely manner. They will also manage a team and work closely with other departments. The COBRA/Direct Bill Manager ensures that all COBRA-related activities are compliant with federal regulations and company policies. The COBRA/Direct Bill Manager reports to the Director of Service Operations or their assignee(s).
