Responsibilities As a Coax Splicer Trainee, you will develop new skills, work in a safe-minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for a better community. In addition, you will: Work alongside crews in a construction environment, assisting with physcial tasks such as: Digging Pulling and placing cable Loading and Unloading trucks Lifting up to 50 lbs. consistently on own You will llearn and development skillsets such as: Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity Utilize RF Meters and TDR (Time-Domain Reflectometers) Read CATV telecommunication design and prints Work in outdoor utility construction sites Qualifications About You: Safety is a part of your day-to-day with a track record of completing high quality work You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team You are looking for long-term projects You have experience in CATV installation or other consrtuction, telecom experience You are comfortable working on a ladder or bucket truck outdoors You are willing and able to work overtime as needed and on-call on a rotating schedule You have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record last 3 years (preferably a CDL) You are eager to lean, with a good attitude, and help your team succeed MOS Codes B05A, 3D157, 6423, B05A, and 5699 relate well to this position.
