About The Position

Consurco is actively seeking Coatings Foremen and Field Leaders for immediate positions in our Boise and Meridian offices. With over 20 years of experience in delivering exceptional projects, we pride ourselves on our dedicated team of 65+ members, including project managers and support staff. Our work spans various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and government facilities across the Western States. Projects typically range from 10,000 to 100,000 square feet and can last from one week to several months. The scopes of work involve the demolition of old flooring systems, concrete surface repair and preparation, and the installation of multi-layer resinous coating systems, often including sloping and integral cove. Most of our work is conducted indoors, allowing us to maintain a steady workflow without the typical seasonality associated with construction jobs. To support our continuous growth and commitment to quality, we invest in both internal and external training with strategic suppliers and manufacturers. Our performance-based review program encourages career advancement for those who are dedicated and take pride in their craft. We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication skills, are organized, and maintain a positive outlook. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Project Managers and Operations Director to uphold our company motto of "Done Right the 1st Time." This role requires the ability to work independently and lead a crew of 4 to 8 installers with varying levels of experience. Candidates should have verifiable experience leading crews or serving as the second in charge of larger crews in concrete surface preparation and the application of multi-step commercial and industrial coatings, such as urethanes and epoxies. Experience with polishing concrete, underlayment, and overlayment is a plus. Additionally, candidates must be able to lead and teach complex installation procedures, demonstrate attention to detail, and understand how to operate and maintain our state-of-the-art specialty equipment. Reading and comprehending written and verbal directions, including material safety data sheets (MSDS), product data sheets, installation procedures, construction drawings, and equipment operating manuals, is essential. A strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and pride in the quality of work performed are crucial. Physical fitness is also important, as the role involves walking, standing, bending, and kneeling to access work areas and perform tasks, including lifting and carrying over 75 pounds. Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) are valued but not required. All self-motivated individuals seeking to join a dynamic team with growth opportunities and a value-centered work environment are encouraged to apply.
