About The Position

Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis (MD&A), a Subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), a world-class supplier of power generation maintenance services, repairs, and parts for the utility and industrial sectors, has an immediate opening for an on-site Industrial Gas Turbines Division (IGT) Coating Supervisor in San Antonio, Texas. We are seeking a dynamic, hardworking, dependable, process- and detail-oriented individual to join a strong team environment. The incumbent will be responsible for supervising, training, mentoring, and overseeing efficient coating strategies for the San Antonio, Texas service center site.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of coating experience.
Must have previous supervision experience leading and managing a team.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Well-versed with personal computers and associated software.
Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable.
Must meet all pre-employment requirements (Criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen)

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall efficiency of the site's coating production.
Ensure all coating equipment is in working order to support daily production throughput.
Collaborates with the site’s stakeholders/operational leaders to ensure timely execution and coating quality standards are met.
Performs visual inspections of all completed parts to ensure quality standards and coating uniformity are being met in accordance with established standards.
Promptly communicates with site stakeholders and leaders any variances or deficiencies within the site's coating process.
Maintains and operates auxiliary equipment related to the coating process.
Tracks and maintains all coating production data.
Support and ensure all safety initiatives are properly executed.
Responsible for the continuous training, mentoring, and development of coating team members to ensure coating production and quality standards are met.
Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on operational requirements.
Support and execute any related duties assigned by management.
