This position ensures efficiency of equipment with tablet compression by setting up, cleaning, operating and maintaining equipment with cGMPs and SOPs. Candidate will participate in developing and monitoring the process to improve uptime and efficiencies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to operate material handling equipment
• Ability to speak,write and comprehend simple instructions in English
• Have good math skills, including fractions, decimals, computing rate, ratio and percent
• Good problem solving skills
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Legible handwriting
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and perform new job functions
• Overtime required when needed (including weekends)
• History of good attendance required with a history of dependability and responsibilities
• Good attendance; must be flexible to assist with workloads without notice for planned/unplanned absences

Responsibilities

• Ability to understand, follow, and perform accurately all instructions written in the batch production record
• Understand and perform all job functions in accordance with cGMPs and SOPs
• Perform material handling of bulk tablets and coating solutions as specified on Manufacturing Orders
• Ensure that all products that are Coated conform to specifications as set forth in the batch production record
• Operate forklift and pallet jacks
• Maintain work are in a clean, well organized condition
• Train or have a qualified associate to train new associates
• Engage as a team member and ability to use Lean Sigma Tools; i.e. FMEA, DMAIC, 7 Wastes, etc.
