About The Position

Positions available: Monday-Thursday 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am Madico is a local Manufacturer and supplier of Window film with proven industry leadership, and we have entered growth mode. We are seeking a local individual for Day & Night shift Coating Operator Positions. This is an exciting onsite opportunity for a local candidate. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Machine Operator supports safe and efficient production. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to count and read measurements. Visual inspection of product for defects. Load and unload product using hoist. Assist team with machine and product changeovers. Perform and assist with machine product setups. Ability to read and understand terminology on required paperwork. Complete checklists, reports, and logs accurately. Adhere to housekeeping requirements for work area. Ability to make verbal or written suggestions/recommendations to management for improvements in work methods and/or safety procedures as needed. Adhere to all safety rules, regulations and procedures. Understand Teamwork Concept (Group of employees with a common goal/goals and ownership of shared responsibility to achieve set goal/goals). Training includes procedures, instructions, on the job training and shadowing current operators. Willingness to work in a team environment. Ability and willingness to work safely in a fast-paced production environment. Positive attitude. Basic Computer skills, Microsoft Office. Lift or push up to 50 pounds. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Cleanup work area and machinery and uses 5S principles. Direction of the helper to assist as required. Other work assigned by supervision. MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS/EMS) RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate, or assist, in identifying how the work that you do affects the quality or impacts on the environmental aspects of the products or services we provide to customer(s). Improve your work processes. Write procedures or work instructions that describe your work. Provide input and verify that documented procedures are adequate and accurate. Understand and use your work/job instructions. Understand our quality and environmental policies and how they apply to you. Keep records and data. Participate in internal audits. Participate in ongoing process improvement. Participate in external registration and surveillance audits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one-year prior work experience.
  • Stand for 8+ hours during scheduled shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be legally able to work in the United States.
  • Work around chemicals utilizing provided PPE.
  • Must be willing to become certified to wear a cartridge respirator and adhere to OSHA regulations on facial hair during respirator usage.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years' experience in production or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer operation skills.
  • Basic Math skills.
  • Able to be comfortable working with different types of machines.
