Coating Machine Operator
About The Position
Spray Coater Operator - Operator applies coating to a surface using specialized spray equipment. Operate spray guns to spray on materials like metal and wood. Required procedural training and understanding of the robotic crossarm coating system. Learn to perform initial setup and adjustment of the machine in conformance with job order. Inspect finishes for quality (smoothness, thickness, and defects). Have the ability to recognize, identify and adjust as required to rectify defects. Conduct preoperational inspections including proper differential pressures. Maintain equipment and follow proper safety procedures including but not limited to: Proper PPE, Machine Hazards, and Safety Guards The location of all controls, safety devices, fire suppression system, and emergency stops. Proper understanding of all start-ups and shut down equipment including how to lock out energy sources and proper housekeeping of the machine. Properly installing, inspecting, maintaining and replacing particle filters. Reports daily output and performance through KPI's. Participates and contributes to company safety program. Performs other related duties as assigned.
