As a Coating/Cleaner/Finisher/Heat Treater, you’ll be part of our Stanley Engineered Fastening team located in Hopkinsville, KY. You’ll get to: Coat, clean and finish a limited variety of parts or products following detailed instructions with standardized methods and procedures. Use formulas and temperatures of solutions, and cleaning methods are prescribed. Check all solutions and adjust or new solutions as required. Maintain required production records and coating and plating material consumption as required. Load and unload tumbling barrels, rinse work and finish/dryers, containers with powered/nonpowered industrial vehicle, as required, to maintain production Operate production heat treating furnaces to perform a limited variety of operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals where cycle time, temperature, quench and methods are prescribed. Set and check, load and unload furnaces, detect and report faulty operation or conditions. Check completed work for hardness and visually inspect as required. Perform Preventive Maintenance tasks on equipment as required Operate and load coating equipment for a variety of sized rivets and/or similar products Other duties as assigned You always strive to do a good job…but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good?
