The Coater Operator is responsible for loading, unloading, testing, and operating the Spartanic Punch in the printing department.

Requirements

Minimum 2 to 5 years of machine operation experience
High School diploma or equivalent work experience
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong Mechanical aptitude
High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines
Ability to quickly identify production problems and ability to identify quality problems
Ability to work well with others and cooperate with team members and leadership team

Nice To Haves

Prior printing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Operate, clean and troubleshoot printing punch
Conduct deck integrity inspections
Loads printing sheets in the punch
Inspect sheets as they exit the machine for proper registration
Operates the machine controls in accordance with operating instructions
Immediately update maintenance and management of any machine or department abnormalities
Keep work areas clean and orderly in accordance with 5S standards
Complete production logs and performs system documentation
Review with lead person work to be performed
Comply with documentation such as the follower and schedule
All duties assigned by printing Lead and management
