About The Position
BlueWater Federal is seeking a Coalition Interoperability Specialist to play a crucial role in establishing, maintaining, executing, and facilitating the Command and Control Interoperability Program (C2IP) for USCENTCOM. This position requires a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Command and Control (C2) interoperability, particularly focused on Partner Nation (PN) specific staff packages. The specialist will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, executing, and facilitating interoperability conferences, programs, and special working groups that involve cross-command and Regional Partner participation. In addition to these responsibilities, the Coalition Interoperability Specialist will participate in and provide guidance during meetings, panels, study groups, and work groups organized by DoD agencies, HQ USCENTCOM, and other major commands. This role necessitates liaising with various USCENTCOM directorates, external components, Ministries of Defense, and Security Cooperation Offices to support Coalition partner engagements, Command and Control Interoperability Boards (CCIB), and Secure C2 Interoperability Working Groups (CIWG). The specialist will also coordinate the resolution of action items from CCIB and CIWG through collaboration with the USCENTCOM staff and outside agencies. The position requires the preparation of high-level official correspondence, including Ghost Emails, Executive Summaries, and White Papers, related to engagements, Communication Interoperability and Security Memorandum of Agreements (CIS MOA), and various planning efforts such as OPLAN/CONPLANS and Theater Campaign Plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in military operations and a thorough understanding of the complexities involved in international military cooperation.
