About The Position
The Seaway Valley Prevention Council's United for Prevention (UP!)Coalition of Lewis County is seeking an organized, self-driven individual to serve as a temporary Coalition Coordinator. The position is available part-time beginning April 1, 2026, transitions to full-time in August, and will end December 31, 2026. The position includes implementing and coordinating community events, leading coalition meetings, collaborating with community businesses and community partners, and advocating for substance use prevention policies. Day-to-day duties include community outreach, organizing programs and presentations, and collaborating with community members. The primary office location is in Lowville, with options to work in Ogdensburg, NY, and remotely. Successful candidates must be highly organized, self-driven, and creative.
