WCSD is now accepting applications for the following Spring 2026 coaches: EAST HIGH SCHOOL Girls’ JV Softball – Head Coach NORTH HIGH SCHOOL Girls’ Modified Flag Football – Head Coach Boys’ Varsity Track – Assistant Coach SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL Girls’ JV Softball – Head Coach Girls’ Modified Softball – Head Coach Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse – Assistant Coach Girls’ Modified Flag Football – Assistant Coach Girls’ Modified Flag Football – Head Coach Girls’ Varsity Flag Football – Head Coach Girls’ Varsity Flag Football – Assistant Coach Boys’ JV Lacrosse – Head Coach Boys’ Lacrosse Modified – Head Coach Boys’ JV Baseball – Head Coach

Requirements

• Must hold a current NYS Teaching Certification or NYS Coaching Certification or NYS Temporary Coaching License
• SAVE, DASA, Child Abuse Workshop, GCN Training
• Current First Aid, CPR & AED
• Fingerprinting clearance
• Additional requirements may apply as per State regulations and district expectations
• Sections 3001 and 3009 of New York State Education Law and Part 80 of Regulations of the Commissioner of Education require certification for compensation as an athletic coach by a public school district. If applicants are not certified at the start of the season, they will be considered volunteers until valid certification from NYSED is issued.
