About The Position

The Coaching Assistant for the J.H. Track program will assist both the Boys and Girls Track teams during practices and meets. The primary responsibility will be to ensure student safety by teaching proper form and procedures. Additionally, the assistant will support the coaches with the day-to-day operations of the program and will be involved in managing large track meets.

Requirements

• Previous Track Coaching experience preferred, but not required
• PEL or IHSA Certification is required

Responsibilities

• Assist Boys and Girls Track teams with practices and meets
• Ensure student safety by teaching proper form and procedures
• Assist Coaches with day-to-day operations of the program
• Work and manage large track meets
