About The Position

We offer growth opportunities for career track progression and ongoing professional development. THE ROLE Lead groups of students through structured games based on the Elevo curriculum. Engage students in sports, games, and other activities. Support kids’ behavioral management needs. Collaborate seamlessly with school administrators, teachers, and fellow coaches. Lead outdoor lessons designed to increase excitement about learning. Serve as a positive role model to the students to build kids’ self-esteem and emotional wellness. ABOUT YOU Have been successful working with elementary and/or middle school kids. Confidently manage groups of up to 20 students with minimal assistance. Can improvise, adapt, and take initiative when needed. Are approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids. Present yourself as a confident leader and a positive role model. Connect with students and foster positive learning experiences. Pay close attention to student needs and adjust activities accordingly. Ensure activities run smoothly and efficiently within allocated timeframes.

Requirements

  • Have been successful working with elementary and/or middle school kids.
  • Confidently manage groups of up to 20 students with minimal assistance.
  • Can improvise, adapt, and take initiative when needed.
  • Are approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids.
  • Present yourself as a confident leader and a positive role model.
  • Connect with students and foster positive learning experiences.
  • Pay close attention to student needs and adjust activities accordingly.
  • Ensure activities run smoothly and efficiently within allocated timeframes.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States, complete and pass a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Willing to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school.
  • Ability to constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to another frequently.
  • Sitting or standing for long periods.
  • Occasional running and other strenuous physical activity.
  • Ability to move safely on irregular and/or uneven terrain on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences strongly preferred.
