About The Position

Soccer Shots has current openings for PART TIME COACHES Please apply if you are ENERGETIC, RESPONSIBLE, PROFESSIONAL, and ENTHUSIASTIC with a PASSION for impacting the youth of San Diego. Our Coaches are individuals who are looking for a career in the fields of Child Development or Early Childhood Education. JOB DESCRIPTION, to include but not limited to: May coach between 2 - 17 soccer classes a week for children (depending on availability), ages 2 - 10, using the Soccer Shots program curriculum, at pre-designated parks and/or schools Mains communication with parents/guardians through email Facilitates and maintains positive relationships with schools, parents and guardians Participates in the Soccer Shots mentorship program, media events, and trainings Responsible for running demo sessions in preschools, elementary schools, and parks Handles administrative duties, in office, approximately 1 - 2 hours a week

Requirements

A passion for educating children
Have the ability to demonstrate soccer skills and movements during classes
Strong verbal communication skills
The ability to lift 40 pounds
Reliable transportation is a must, as Coaches may need to travel to any of our locations throughout San Diego
The ability to communicate with the Soccer Shots administrative office while in the field
Proof of a TB Test within the past 2 years from the hire date OR proof of a TB Test taken within 1 month after the hire date

Nice To Haves

Proof of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Units preferred before hire
Immediate enrollment in the classes immediately after hire. Classes may be done on campus or online. We offer a tuition reimbursement to assist with these classes.
Proof of Pediatric CPR Certification preferred before hire. Proof of Pediatric CPR Certification is required within 2 months of hire date.

Responsibilities
