About The Position

The Lynden School District No. 504 is seeking qualified candidates for various positions, including substitutes and coaches. Requirements

• Must be a citizen or have a visa permitting work in the United States.
• Physically able to perform the duties of the job.
• Willing to submit to a criminal history background check, including fingerprint check.
• Successful WSP and FBI background clearance check.
• Completion of Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Release Form.
• I-9 Employment Eligibility documentation (citizen or legal alien status).
• W-4 Form completion.
• Washington State Department of Retirement Status Form.
• Immunization History for those born January 1, 1957 or after.
• Completion of online mandatory trainings per Lynden School District policy.
• Hepatitis B Training if required.
• Provide Social Security Card and valid Driver's License for identification upon hiring.

Nice To Haves

• Previous employment with the Lynden School District.
• Membership in a Washington State Retirement System.
• Ability to provide first aid/CPR in emergencies.
• Knowledge of WIAA rules and procedures for school coaches.
• Knowledge of clinic rules for the sports activity applied for.
• Knowledge of rules regarding a player's fitness to participate in sports and concussion protection.
