This position is for a Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee. The role involves leading and developing teams effectively through teaching, training, active listening, store tours (TourtoTeach), and communication with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The trainee will introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance for business solutions, and communicate business objectives. The role also focuses on modeling exceptional customer service, managing customer service initiatives, resolving customer issues, and implementing action plans for process improvement. A key aspect is driving financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes, and developing actions to mitigate shrink and achieve sales/profit goals. The trainee will supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing associates, promoting a belonging mindset, and recruiting for growth. It also involves coordinating job-related activities, maintaining stakeholder relationships, supporting plans, identifying goals, building accountability, addressing improvement opportunities, demonstrating adaptability, and promoting continuous learning. Compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, values, and ethics, including the Open Door Policy, is essential.
