About The Position
The New Teacher Support Coach is a pivotal role within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, aimed at enhancing the development and effectiveness of new teachers. This position focuses on improving teacher efficacy and student learning by providing leadership and support to new educators. The coach collaborates closely with school principals, leadership teams, and professional learning communities (PLCs) to build instructional capacity and meet the goals outlined in the district's strategic and school improvement plans. The role encompasses mentoring, instructional coaching, professional development, and data analysis to ensure new teachers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their teaching careers.
