About The Position

The Marysville Joint Unified School District (MJUSD) is seeking a qualified individual to manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions. The role is focused on promoting individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect, and good sportsmanship among student-athletes. The position requires the use of various instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and improve the abilities of student-athletes. Additionally, the individual will coordinate the development, promotion, and recruitment for the Soccer Program, develop a regular practice schedule, and encourage sportsmanlike conduct in all phases of athletic participation.

Requirements

• CPR/First Aid Certification
• A General Coaching Education Course
• Concussion Training
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Training
• Heat Acclimatization Course

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions.
• Promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect, and good sportsmanship.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and improve the abilities of student-athletes.
• Coordinate the development, promotion, and recruitment for the Soccer Program.
• Develop a regular practice schedule and organize practice time for individual and team development.
• Encourage sportsmanlike conduct in all phases of athletic participation.
• Represent the Marysville Joint Unified School District and Marysville High School.
