About The Position

The Head JV Softball Coach at Prairie High School is responsible for leading and developing the junior varsity softball team. This role involves coaching student-athletes, planning practices, and fostering a positive team environment. The coach will also be expected to promote sportsmanship and ensure compliance with school and athletic regulations.

Requirements

• Iowa Coaching Certification is required.
• Experience in coaching softball at the high school level is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a head coach or assistant coach in softball.
• Knowledge of the rules and strategies of softball.
