About The Position

As a member of the Production/Warehouse team, the Coach is a critical role and is responsible for providing training to team members and validate understanding of concepts to ensure operational success through attaining KPIs in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity. The Coach will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of their home department.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED and/or 2-3 years’ experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Previous leadership or training experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members
  • Communicate with team members to explain SOPs that allow team to attain daily productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Be a champion of the department’s SOPs. Coach, train, and retrain team members on the SOP’s for the department.
  • Partner with Supervisors and Managers to provide objective feedback on trainee’s progression.
  • Partner to find the most efficient process and suggest improvements where needed/identified; encourages team members to provide suggestions
  • Will cross train team members from other areas to ensure a flexible team
  • Completes training records timely and in partnership with team member trainee
  • Flexes training method and style to accommodate different learning types/speeds
  • May act as a back up to the Team Lead or Operator
