About The Position
The J is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Softball Coach. Our coaches will provide instruction and impart their knowledge of the game to young players ages 12-14. The J’s Softball instructional program emphasizes skill development, self-discipline and safety and teaches the value of good sportsmanship. Experience as a coach/player is preferred .
Requirements
- Experience working with children preferred
- Experience as a coach/player is preferred
- Knowledge of baseball and its rules
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Must have reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Lead softball drills at practices and coach in games for ages 12-14
- Help set up and tear down equipment
- Supervise children ages 12 to 14 years old
- Clear and timely communication with parents
