About The Position
The Assistant Volleyball Coach works under the direct supervision of the athletic director, Head Volleyball Coach, and the principal. The coach is expected to provide the necessary leadership and to plan, organize, and be responsible for the volleyball team, and to carry out the objectives of the school athletic program. High school level coaches are expected to have had previous successful coaching experience and experience in playing the sport. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication, organizational, motivational, teaching, and coaching skills. This person should be a person of high character and values that will set a positive example for all students in the East Valley School District. This position does NOT include a teaching position in the District.
