You’ll be equally comfortable welcoming high-profile guests, brewing coffee, planning creative events, and keeping our space looking its best. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality or office management
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable with space or facility management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft 365 Suite
  • Energetic, welcoming, and community focused
  • Ability to strike a balance between independent project management, and coordinated team support
  • Absolute discretion in receiving and handling sensitive information
  • Able to work early mornings, evenings and weekends from time to time

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in coworking, shared office, and hotel style spaces
  • Preferred experience in working or managing special events

Responsibilities

  • First to arrive in the morning to turn on the lights, brew the coffee, and visually check that all spaces are ready for the day.
  • Assisting with member account management via our property management software.
  • Supporting any visiting groups, vendors, deliveries, and guests who require orientation to the space.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and function of the space with specific attention to kitchen areas, and the rotation of shared meeting spaces.
  • Supporting communication efforts to the community with relevant announcements, updates, and invites.
  • Coordinating with building engineering, custodial staff, and IT support to respond promptly to support tickets from the community.
  • Supporting the Community Manager by conducting informative and engaging tours of the space for prospective members and workspace rental opportunities.
  • Fulfilment of a concierge style role where you greet and welcome everyone to the space and help with navigation and orientation.
  • Being the first point of contact when a client experiences a service issue and providing direction on a resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current members.
  • Create meaningful and relevant connections between members. You are the central hub of the workspace and have a unique opportunity to build community within the space.
  • Lead the hands-on planning and execution of inspired and unique events for our members in collaboration with the neighboring and partner businesses (2-4 events / month)
  • Marketing and promoting events to ensure member and outside participation as applicable.
  • Capitalize on event attendance to support sales initiatives through marketing opportunities, and relevant community targeting.
