About The Position

Insulet is seeking a highly motivated student with a Supply Chain focused degree for a cooperative educational (Co-op) position in our Acton, MA office. The Supply Chain Co-op will provide the Supply Chain Planning Team with analytics & reporting that will improve data-driven decision making to ensure raw material availability at all Manufacturing locations. This position will also partner with Global Procurement to drive improvement of various Supplier KPIs.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a BS or BA program in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related degree.
Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship needs.

Responsibilities

Provide analytical & tactical support to Supply Chain Planning Team in order to ensure raw material availability at all Manufacturing locations.
Evaluate Inventory levels by helping manage raw material delivery schedules with Insulet Manufacturing schedules.
Support Monthly Supplier Forecast Review by continuously evaluating inventory targets & aligning with Manufacturing locations on order coverage.
Help lead and participate in daily conference calls with key suppliers to ensure alignment on component delivery schedules & engineering initiatives.
Assist in further development of consistent and effective reporting to manage performance and highlight issues.
Deliver on a defined set of projects within the Supply Chain team. Projects will include developing new analytical tools, reports, and a metrics dashboard.
Provide analytical support for ad-hoc Supply Chain Planning projects.
Manage Supplier interactions to help in driving on time delivery and update Purchase Orders as needed
