Co-Op Student - Human Factors Engineering
About The Position
General Dynamics Land Systems Co-op Program is hiring for rotations starting in fall of 2024 and winter of 2025. The engineering co-op will perform various responsibilities depending on the organization in which they are placed. This role will begin in the Integrated Systems: Human Factor Engineering. Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree majoring in either Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Human Factors Engineering,
- Must currently be a full-time student at accredited University/College
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an official university transcript before their first day of employment.
- Must demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance).
Responsibilities
- Write requirements and perform verification/testing to cover human factors engineering.
- Learn human factors engineering practices and methods.
- May have opportunity to create a human model using Jack software.
