About The Position

This position will work in the chemistry lab and be trained and involved in the testing and analysis of body-worn drug delivery devices as it relates to biocompatibility and safety to the patient.

Requirements

Highly ethical, responsible and data-driven decision-making methodology
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow direction
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
Ability to work with chemistry-based lab equipment and tools
This position is not eligible for employer-based visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship needs.

Responsibilities

Use GCMS and conduct off gas analysis on Pod components with headspace autosampler.
Use FTIR for investigation of foreign matter related to R&D, post market or manufacture.
Use UPLC-MS to study extractable and leachable profiles of Pod.
Coordinate sample submission to Contract labs.
Author Test Protocol/Test Report for biocompatibility as needed.
Help out/lighten other groups’ workload as needed
Follow safety guidelines
Maintain electronic and/or paper notebooks
Author/Establish Tool Files for instruments/procedures in chemistry lab
